Your journey up to now…
There comes a time in our lives when we feel the need to change, evolve and improve our knowledge. This phase of life requires reflection, dedication and above all, focus. The exam and ‘applications’ phase for extension programs is certainly one of the most difficult, stressful, and demanding in the life of those who want to study abroad. There are several proficiency tests, essays, and forms that seem to be endless. But believe me, it’s all for a greater good!!!
This is the time when we start asking ourselves several questions, such as:
- What are the most important life values for me?
- What does leadership mean to my career?
- How was my trajectory in my professional life?
There are many options for extension courses, academic masters, executive masters or even a doctorate. But remember that each university has a unique profile, and you should always think about how your profile matches the profile of the institution where you intend to study.
Coming back to the exams, if you intend to pursue a Master of Laws (LLM) or Academic Master’s, all you need is a high score on the TOEFL iBT. However, if your goal is to earn a Master’s in Business Administration (MBA), in addition to getting a high score on the TOEFL iBT, you will also need to take the GMAT test and guarantee a good grade as well so that you can be competitive when applying for your study program.
